Professional, Customized, Even & Streak-Free Spray Tans, with No Orange in Sight
Hi, I’m Elizabeth, a Licensed Esthetician and Certified Spray Tan Artist in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Everyone’s skin is different; that’s why I use my knowledge as an esthetician to analyze your skin type and tone in order to offer you the most natural and complimentary tan for your skin.
I’m obsessed with the science of spray tans and am constantly continuing my education to ensure that my services reflect the most up-to-date information and standards in the industry.
And guess what? I have the BEST program in the area for maintaining your glow year-round. I call it the “Just Because” spray tan program (…so that you can have a tan whenever you want, “just because”). There’s nothing to sign, and you ALL benefit right away.
Here’s how it works: Your first tan of the calendar month is the standard price. Any additional tan in that same calendar month is $15 off regular price. For example: You come in on June 6 for a custom spray tan and pay $40. You also get spray tanned on June 16 and June 28. Those additional tans will be just $25 each!
I’ve spray tanned brides, bridesmaids, cheerleaders, dancers, prom queens, vacation-goers, and countless others who want to feel their most confident for a special occasion (or no occasion at all!). Scroll down for some examples of my work, and FAQs!
FAQs
Can you guess the most common question I’m asked? yep, you guessed it…. “Will I look ORANGE?” My answer? You’re in luck! I don’t offer orange. :-)
How long does it last? The answer to this one actually depends on you! The average tan lasts about 7 days…sometimes more, sometimes less. The better you follow the before & after care instructions, the longer your tan will last. Dry skin with a spray tan starts to appear patchy after a few days. That’s why it’s so important to keep it moisturized, all day, every day, after your tan! I keep Glazed moisturizer at my studio for purchase, as it is specifically designed for post-spray tan use. You can also use Hempz, or even purchase a tan extending lotion from Amazon. Stay away from oils or lotions containing alcohol.
Do I really need to exfoliate before my appointment? Yes! You need to exfoliate 24-48 hours before your tan (but not right before your tan). Your skin is constantly creating new cells and shedding old cells. If you come to your appointment with old skin cells barely hanging on, those old skin cells will be shed first and maybe immediately, along with your pretty new tan. Also, shaving counts as exfoliation in any areas shaved!
Why can’t I exfoliate right before my tan? You need to exfoliate 24-48 hours before your tan, NOT right before your tan. The reason for this is that your pores could still be open after a warm shower or exfoliation, leading to more absorption into your pores and a less even tan.
How do I exfoliate? It’s simple. You can shave or use an exfoliating glove or mitt. Just don’t use a sugar scrub or anything with oil or lotions.
I have a big event coming up. When should I get a spray tan? As I said above, the average tan lasts about 7 days. However, your tan will look its best 2-3 days after your tan. For example, if you have an event on a Saturday, try to book your appointment for that Thursday!
Be sure to check out the “Before Your Visit” tab for instructions on how to prepare for your tan. Most importantly, please exfoliate 24-48 hours before your tan (but not RIGHT before your tan, as this will open your pores; the result may appear uneven).
